A notorious fraudster was apprehended yesterday in Ughelli area of Delta state. According to reports, the man had been terrorizing commuters along the Ughelli-Patani highway before meeting his Waterloo yesterday after being apprehended by some youths for swindling a woman to the tune of over N1.3m. He was beaten to pulp as depicted in the pictures. He was later handed over to the police on the instruction of the military Commander Heading Ughelli Division.
As the popular Yoruba proverb (translated in English) have it: “Everyday is for the thief, one day is for the owner of the house.”
“Owo palaba re ti segi.”
